Stitched

I've been doing alot of sewing lately but Jar's blanket has been on my list for about two years and it's finally done!

Castle Peeps snuggle blanket - hopefully worth the wait!
Some burp clothes for a friends beautiful baby boy

and a bag with some goodies in the pockets for a special someone!

Unfortunately I don't follow this advice before I sew!!

He's Bananas !!

I bribed Ned to try a banana - the best $3 I spent cause now he likes them!

Circus

Ned ran away to join the circus - well only on Saturday mornings!!  He learns juggling, acro, trapeze, cloud and he absolutely loves it.

Garden Update

I've had a good year with tomato's and zucchini but pretty bad for anything else.  Jar and I covered out fence with bamboo and built a chicken proof gate out of garden stakes and cable ties!

Eco Expo

Ned and I went to the Eco Expo for a wander and it was so good.  Heaps of great stalls and information and I signed up for a free composting course!

Ned fell in love with with this baby wallaby - we went back to this stall about 3 times so he could have more cuddles.

Fisherwoman

Jar went fishing with Pop and came home with these beauty's - as you can see we didn't waste a bit!!

In the bin film festival

We packed up our blankets, snacks, thermos's and camp chairs and headed off the the 'in the bin short film festival' that was part of the festival of arts month.  It was held on an oval and was freezing but we snuggled up with hot choc and enjoyed the show. The films were fantastic and it's going to be a regular annual event for us.
